Happy Birthday, Chris!

i love, love the little 7 year old yoda boy. it's for sure one of my favorites.

I haven't had a lot to say lately, so my blog has been neglected.

I hope to record a few of the happenings around here soon.

But I couldn't let this important day pass by without a quick shout out to my favorite person.

During a chat with a friend, she reminded me of an old memory I had forgotten about.

It was your birthday...the first one since I had known you.

We were all friends living in the dorms together.

And we broke into your dorm room while you were at class to leave you some (probably nasty) brownies that we had made in a teeny microwave in one of our rooms.

Your family called with birthday wishes.

I answered the phone and someone said, "There's a girl in his room!"

Two and 1/2 years later, we went on our first date. 

It doesn't matter that we disagree on when the first date actually occurred.

Only that it did.

And that we both already knew in our hearts what it was bringing...

forever.

I'm so thankful for you.
